Quality Inspector Sr

As a Inspector, you will support production of Ordnance Lines in Courtland Alabama. Your responsibilities will include:
• Inspecting products/materials to validate the workmanship, dimensions and ensure documentation conforms to the product requirements.
• Performing acceptance or rejections and generate non-conforming documentation (Q-Notes) for hardware that does not meet product specifications or requirements
• Performing inspection and handling of Hazardous materials/chemicals
• Performing inspection and handling of Ordnance material

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of SAP software / database or other ERP software/database systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications / standards
• Basic Computer/ Microsoft Office skills experience
• Effective written and communication skills
• Can work independently/self-motivated
• Experience working successfully in a team environment
• Interim secret clearance required to start
• Able to work Monday-Thursday 4X10 first shift schedule (6:00 am - 4:30 pm)
Desired Skills:
• Highly Proficient in SAP or other ERP software/database
• VECAMS / AF experience
• Proficient using calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
• Experience working in various assembly areas and/or previous Inspection/QA experience
• Experience working in a Aerospace/Defense or related Manufacturing environment
• Ordnance line production experience
• Program start up/development experience
• ASQ certified Inspector
• GD&T experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
