Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver vital care and support in the operating room by utilizing your skills as a surgical technologist or nurse with surgical experience. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures, working alongside a dedicated surgical team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as a Non-Certified or Certified Surgical Technologist, or as a Nurse with Operating Room Technician (ORT) skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork

Schedule:

• Full-time hours; specifics discussed during interview process

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are set up and functional prior to surgery
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and monitoring equipment
• Perform counts of instruments and supplies, and document all required information accurately
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Support post-operative clean-up and sterilization processes
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other departments to coordinate high-quality patient care

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
