Project Administrator
Description
One of TEKsystems' clients, a leader in their respective industry, is looking for a Project Administrator/Jr. Project Coordinator to join their team. Our client is growing scaling quickly both organically and through acquisitions. Due to the company's rapid growth, they built a PMO last year and implemented a project management tool and created a blueprint (so to speak) of how the organization will manage projects going forward throughout the organization. This includes both IT/OT projects as well as line-of-business specific projects in what the manager calls "a federated model." Now that the build out of the PMO and tool implementation has been completed, the PMO Director is looking to hire a Project Administrator/Jr. Project Coordinator. The candidate will learn about the X's and O's of project management and be expected to help administer the new PM tool, manage stakeholders, schedule meetings and help drive projects forward. The client is looking for someone early in their career and for someone who aspires to be a project manager. Although no prior project management experience is required, the manager would like someone who has an understanding of PM vernacular and the overall process. This position is onsite, business casual; but company headquarters so having an executive presence/communication to execs is critical. The candidate needs to have the sense of ownership to own their role and be a student of their craft and the business as a whole. Work ethic, curiosity (seek to understand), humility, organization are needed. We aren't looking for someone overly technical, but any experience with PowerBI or data could be benficial

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
