Position Summary

Gearbox Technologies LLC is seeking a motivated and professional Finance Intern to support financial operations while gaining experience in a growing technology company. This internship is a strong opportunity for a student who is interested in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting data-driven business decisions.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, analytically strong, and comfortable working in an environment where accuracy and financial integrity matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across different areas of the business
• Help maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and internal financial documentation
• Assist with preparing reports related to revenue, expenses, and operational performance
• Support financial modeling and analysis for business decisions and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
• Assist with identifying trends, variances, and insights within financial datasets
• Support documentation of financial processes and internal procedures
• Maintain professionalism and attention to detail when handling sensitive financial information

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial modeling concepts

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong communication and organizational skills

Interest in finance within a technology-driven business environment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship, project experience, or campus involvement in finance or business

Familiarity with financial analysis tools, dashboards, or data visualization platforms

Experience with tools such as Excel (advanced), Power BI, or similar

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

Interest in working within a startup or high-growth technology environment
