Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs in a large manufacturing facility. This role partners with operations and leadership to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and implement safety and environmental programs per OSHA, NFPA, and EPA standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Deliver employee safety training and ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain environmental permits, waste management records, and regulatory reports.
• Lead emergency response and preparedness initiatives.
• Track safety performance metrics and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field ( Bachelor’s preferred ).
• 3+ years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA regulations and auditing processes.
• Strong communication and computer skills ( Microsoft Office ).
• Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, RCRA, First Aid/CPR/AED, CSP/ASP.
