The Multidisciplinary Integrated Systems Department (MISD) supports Raytheon by providing world class technical expertise and engineering leadership to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems, Sensors, and Effectors. We lead all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support Raytheon's Land and Air Defense Systems business area from our Huntsville, AL location. Our Systems Engineers solve technical challenges at the System of System (SoS), System, Subsystem, and Component levels.
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Sr. Section Leader** to join our team in **Huntsville, AL** .
**What You Will Do:**
+ Employee performance development and assessment
+ Ensure quality and timeliness of work products produced within the section
+ Employee growth, productivity improvement, and recognition
+ Personnel issue resolution
+ Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures
+ Ensuring all personnel are properly prepared and trained for the tasks they are assigned
+ Leveraging best practices across all programs
+ Growing capabilities of the section to meet future customer needs
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically Requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
+ Experience with Missile Defense Systems or other related systems engineering experience
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Advanced degree in EE, CE, Physics, Math, ME, Aerospace.
+ Detailed Knowledge of Integrated Air and Missile Defense systems including radar, interceptor, Command and Control systems
+ Control Account Management experience
+ Experience authoring Technical Publications
+ Experience leading teams
+ Experience using DOORs
+ Strong collaboration skills
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
