Automotive Service Technician – Mullinax Hyundai of Montgomery

Location: Montgomery, AL
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay + Flag Time + Bonus Opportunities

Mullinax Hyundai of Montgomery is seeking skilled and reliable Automotive Service Technicians to join our busy and well-equipped service department. This is a great opportunity to grow your career with a respected dealership that values quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

We are hiring experienced technicians and will also consider mid-level techs looking to advance with training and certification support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on Hyundai and other vehicles

• Inspect and identify necessary repairs and communicate findings to Service Advisors

• Follow manufacturer procedures and maintain high safety and quality standards

• Accurately document all work performed in the DMS

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Stay current with factory training and certifications (Hyundai or ASE preferred)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred (Hyundai experience a plus)

• ASE certifications or manufacturer training preferred but not required

• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Own tools required for the job
