Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a resource classroom setting. This full-time, contract position starts on August 6th and will serve approximately 15-20 students in grades 9-12. The role involves working closely with students who require individualized instruction and support to help them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver instruction in a resource classroom environment, providing targeted support for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance student learning
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and municate regularly with parents and guardians
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience working with high school students in grades 9-12
• Ability to manage a caseload of 15-20 students effectively
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong munication and organizational skills
