**Job Title: Warehouse Associate**
**Job Description**
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling both inbound and outbound freight. Your role involves loading and unloading vehicles and containers, sorting freight by size and destination, and ensuring accurate freight movement through reading and decoding freight coding. You will also reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests, label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Additionally, you will record damaged shipments and misrouted freight.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
+ Sort freight according to size and destination.
+ Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement.
+ Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
+ Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
+ Perform cleanup activities to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the dock.
+ Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma required.
+ Previous warehouse experience.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Capability to follow directions.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience as a material handler or order selector.
+ Proficiency with forklifts and pallet jacks.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a brand new, clean, and climate-controlled facility. The position offers various shift options: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with weekend night shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am. All candidates will train on the 1st shift during the first week. The work environment promotes safety and cleanliness.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
