Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide comprehensive support to students in grades K-12 across two schools in the Fairhope, AL area. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience within a dynamic educational setting, working onsite to address diverse speech and language needs for school-aged children. The assignment runs from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress
• Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for speech-language pathology services
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development relevant to student needs and service delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology
• Registered with the Board of Speech Examiners in Alabama or holding pending Department of Education licensure acceptable by the district
• Experience working in school settings serving K-12 populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with state licensure requirements and regulations governing speech-language services in schools
• Ability to work onsite in Fairhope, AL, within a collaborative school environment
