**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping in mind the unique needs of a technology-focused location.
+ Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
+ Communicate clearly with on-site personnel and visitors, offering assistance as needed and maintaining a professional presence.
+ Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client management.
+ Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with security-related best practices for a tech and media environment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
