Cleaning Crew Member – Pre-Opening Preparation

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our cleaning crew in preparing our facility for its grand opening . This role is critical to ensuring that our business presents a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and customers. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning or janitorial experience, take pride in their work, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Preparation: Assist in the deep cleaning and organization of the entire facility before the grand opening.

• Surface Cleaning: Wash and polish windows, mirrors, office furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance.

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean all types of flooring, including tile, carpet, and hard surfaces.

• Restroom Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms; ensure all fixtures and supplies are in working order.

• Trash and Recycling: Empty trash bins, remove debris, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.

• Dusting and Detailing: Dust shelves, light fixtures, baseboards, and vents to maintain a dust-free environment.

• Inspection and Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor promptly.

• Equipment Use: Safely operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, buffers, etc.) and ensure tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained.

• Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with team members to meet deadlines and ensure all assigned areas are completed to standard.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of professional cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience (commercial cleaning preferred).

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.

• Appearance and Conduct: Must maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and respectful demeanor at all times.

• Dependability: Punctuality and reliability are essential—must be able to meet scheduled shifts and complete tasks on time.

• Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to quality and cleanliness standards.

• Communication Skills: Able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

• Compensation: $15.00 hourly
