About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Services Director to lead our social services team at Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of social services programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the social services team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Program Development: Develop and implement social services programs that address the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and residents.
• Quality Improvement: Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation, nursing, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care plans and effective communication.
• Staff Development: Provide guidance and support to social services staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

What We Offer:

Salary Range: $29.00-$34.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Minimum Years of Experience: Experience in a social services setting in long-term care, preferred
• Level of Education: BSW; MSW
• Additional Requirements: Licensed Social Worker in the State of Alabama
