Relief Veterinarian

VCA Animal Medical Center of Northeast Alabama is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our practice in Anniston. We have a formal mentorship program, so new graduates are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic veterinarian to join us as we treat dogs, cats, and exotics. We practice excellent medicine with a strong focus on client relationships and education. We offer state of the art equipment, including ultrasound, digital radiographs, and in house labs. We offer a flexible schedule and are enthusiastic about mentoring and helping new associates develop their skills in areas of special interest. We employ LVTs with over 100 years of combined experience so doctors can focus on examinations, interpreting tests, and performing procedures.

Anniston is one hour east of Birmingham and 90 minutes west of Atlanta. Our area is a haven for recreation, fitness, and outdoor activities. We are surrounded by the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains & Talladega National Forest. Mountain and road cycling is extremely popular with multiple trails available and many groups offering workshops and training. The county offers an abundance of cultural and recreational opportunities for people of all ages – museums, theater, symphony, opera, ballet, fishing, golfing, and relaxing at the parks.
