The Leasing Agent - Seasonal will primarily manage residential apartments, working within a small team of 2-5 members. This role involves leasing apartment homes and supporting tenant placement through thorough tenant screening, lease preparation, and efficient application processing, while maintaining strong communication with clients and prospective renters. The agent will also contribute to property marketing efforts and occasionally handle lease renewals and extensions.
This position is seasonal with an ending date to be discussed.
Responsibilities
- Show rental properties to potential residents
- Prepare and manage lease agreements accurately
- Communicate effectively with prospective tenants and current clients
- Market available residential apartment rentals
- Conduct tenant screening to evaluate applicant suitability
- Process rental applications and related customer support tasks
- Assist with lease renewals and extensions as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in leasing or property management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and time management abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
