You will work onsite (virtual options not available), responding to dynamic school needs and making a meaningful difference in students’ educational and personal growth.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
• Deep understanding of regulations, laws, and best practices in special education and services for children with disabilities
• Strong grasp of pediatric and adolescent development, especially as it informs assessment and intervention
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools for medical and psychological evaluation of students with disabilities
• Ability to evaluate data and interpret related laws, policies, and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Credentials:

• ASHA Certification
• Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology (ABSESPA) Licensure

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges based on student need
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in data-driven decision making
