Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Pike Road, AL, working within a school setting. This role focuses on providing essential speech and language therapy services to pediatric populations, supporting students' communication development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure to practice as an SLP in Alabama
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Open to candidates willing to relocate or travel for this role
Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Track and document student progress according to state and federal guidelines
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans
- Maintain compliance with ASHA, state licensing requirements, and local school policies
