Southeast Unloading is hiring a hands-on Working Supervisor to lead a crew unloading inbound freight in a food-grade, temperature-controlled warehouse. This is not a desk position. The role is approximately 80% production and 20% administrative. You will work alongside your team while coordinating daily dock operations, safety, and customer communication.

Compensation:

• Pay is structured with two components: a base hourly rate plus your performance earnings.

• Typical annual earnings range from $50,000 to $60,000+, with no earning cap.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday | 2nd Shift

What You Will Do:

• Conduct daily pre-shift start-up meetings, with a focus on safety

• Adjust staffing in real time based on workload

• Ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards exceed expectations

• Communicate daily with the customer’s leadership

• Enter load information into internal systems

• Coach employees on attendance and performance, including discipline

• Hire, onboard, and train new team members

Experience & Qualifications:

• Strong communication and leadership ability

• Strong work ethics

• Organized with the ability to see the big picture

• Experience unloading containers in a food-grade distribution center

• Forklift experience

• Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel)

• Reliable transportation

Physical & Work Environment:

This is an active, floor-based leadership role.

You will: but not limited to

• Walk and stand throughout the shift

• Operate power equipment

• Unload containers

• Bend, squat, twist, and lift regularly

• Occasionally lift 30–50 lbs

• Work in refrigerated conditions
