Superintendent - Mechanical Construction
About the Role
As a Superintendent, you'll oversee mechanical installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, and with exceptional quality. Your leadership will drive strong partnerships, repeat business, and impressive financial outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical guidance, interpret construction drawings, and recommend methods and equipment
- Lead and mentor field teams, fostering collaboration with internal staff and external partners
- Ensure project profitability through effective site management and cost control
- Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining safety, schedule, and quality standards
- Manage documentation using streamlined digital workflows
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Equivalent experience in mechanical fieldwork and leadership will be considered
- Minimum of 5 years in the mechanical construction industry
- Prior experience supporting project management or field leadership
Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to lead and optimize team performance using innovative management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting professional relationships
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic financial acumen to manage budgets and performance metrics
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with project management software is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to navigate and manage activities on active construction sites
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel to job sites across multiple states as needed
