Wooden Truss Builders
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Wooden Truss Builders for a company based in Shelby, AL. The Wooden Truss Builder is an entrylevel role responsible for performing repetitive assembly tasks to massproduce building components such as wooden roof and floor trusses . The position involves placing, fastening, cutting, and preparing components according to production specifications.

Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Wooden Truss Builders- Duties and Responsibilities

• Place lumber and parts in the correct relationship to each other for truss assembly.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten truss components together.
• Cut lumber or products to precise measurements as required.
• Remove defective or substandard products as needed.
• Operate machinery used in forcefitting and fastening operations on an assembly line.
• Work at various workstations depending on production needs.
• Clean equipment, floors, and work areas in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Wooden Truss Builders- Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written and verbal instructions.
• Problemsolving in standardized situations.
• Ability to work in fastpaced production environments with changing tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Prior carpentry experience helpful

Job Type
Full-time, temporary to hire
