The Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in delivering the warm, helpful service that the Hampton Inn brand is known for. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, can handle multiple tasks efficiently, and is committed to providing a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out and everything else in between.
Front Desk Agent Job Responsibilities:
● Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
● Assist customers in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
● Understand all essential aspects of our business operations.
● Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; and make change for cash customers.
● Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording customer information and operating credit card authorization systems.
● Balance the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift.
● Monitor lobby and work area determine customer flow.
● Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
● Facilitate correspondence with customers.
● Act as the site liaison for the services and sales center.
● Work collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources.
Shifts:
● Full-time; Part-time
● Times: 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM; 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
● Applicants must be available for one or both shifts and have flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
● High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
