Administrative Assistant (Manufacturing) – Temporary | Hueytown, AL
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Hueytown, Alabama, is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in keeping information organized and accurate.
Key Responsibilities- Scan, organize, and maintain paper and electronic documents
- File, retrieve, and update records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Organize and manage documentation within the company's ERP system
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents
- Assist with data entry and record maintenance
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to office personnel
- Support special projects and assist with day-to-day office operations as needed
- Previous administrative assistant, office assistant, or clerical experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new software systems and ERP platforms
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy office environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a professional, positive attitude
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with document management or ERP systems
