About the Position:

Provide the sales activities and results necessary to achieve and exceed the community’s sales and move-in goals, continuously maximizing occupancy and achieving budgeted census goals.

What Will You Do:

• Pre-qualify potential customers so that sales efforts expended are in proportion to their urgency and appropriateness for the community.
• Identify needs and goals of potential customer and key-decision makers.
• Maintain regular contact with perspective residents and their families, validating their interest and moving toward a decision to move to the Community.
• Conduct a competent and accurate assessment of potential residents to determine appropriateness for the community. Communicate with and involve other department managers as necessary in the assessment process.
• Complete residency agreements and secure proper signatures and deposits as needed.
• Ensure a smooth transition for the resident from the sales process through the move-in process.
• Schedule sales appointments and structure work schedule to maximize efficiency while also providing timely responses to customers.
• Establish a work schedule that is most responsive to the potential customers in the community’s market. This will most likely include regularly working evenings and weekends. Develop tactics and timelines to meet sales objectives.

Why You Are Qualified:

Level of Education

• Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in marketing or related field.
• Valid driver’s license (and liability insurance) to use personal vehicle for marketing travel.

Level of Experience

• A minimum of three years of direct customer sales experience in a senior living community with demonstrated success in closing the sale.
