Location: Theodore, AL
Order Type: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Theodore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, materials management, and shipping coordination, with a proven ability to maintain organized records and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and invoices.
• Coordinate daily shipments through customer portals and web-based platforms (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
• Manage incoming and outgoing materials to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Work closely with logistics partners, vendors, and internal departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Develop and implement process controls and quality improvement initiatives that support accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Maintain detailed and organized shipping and inventory records.
• Support warehouse operations by assisting with material handling, labeling, and general shipping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
• ERP system experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 32 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally) and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in logistics, materials management, or warehouse coordination preferred.
