Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity supporting students in grades PreK-5th in the Tuscaloosa, AL area for the 2026-2027 school year. Apply today!
Job Responsibilities:
- Full-time (37.5 hours)
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications:
- Active AL Special Education License (PreK-5th) required
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and special education best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
