An opportunity is available for a paraprofessional to support virtual speech services within private schools near Daphne, AL. This position involves facilitating the delivery of remote speech and communication therapy for K-12 students identified with speech or communication disorders.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as the on-site facilitator for virtual speech-language pathology (SLP) sessions, supporting approximately 60 students across multiple campuses
• Serving as a hands-on assistant to the remote SLP during therapy, providing direct student support
• Ensuring smooth communication between students, clinicians, and staff, including troubleshooting technology issues and relaying important information
• Supporting students during virtual sessions with SLPs and other related service providers
• Managing and operating technology required for virtual therapy sessions with training provided as needed

Qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher is preferred
• Tech-savvy with the ability to assist students during virtual therapy and quickly resolve technical problems
• Candidates must be local, U.S. citizens, over 18 years old, and able to provide two professional references
• Strong communication skills and ability to act as a liaison between students and clinicians
• Ability to work an itinerant schedule across multiple campuses within the designated area

This is a contract role starting in March 2026 through May 29, 2026, requiring approximately 15 hours per week. Typical hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., subject to change based on the virtual clinicians schedule.
