Care Specialist Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Care Specialist to provide confidential administrative support and assist with daily operations in a healthcare setting. This role supports project activities, maintains compliance with regulatory standards, and ensures smooth communication across internal and external partners.

• Provide day-to-day support for care management and departmental operations.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory timelines.
• Support providers and members through outreach, case authorizations, and correspondence.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects to ensure departmental effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project & Program Support (20%) Assist in developing, tracking, and managing project plans and departmental activities.
• Correspondence & Scheduling (15%) Initiate correspondence, organize meetings and events, and manage departmental records.
• Reporting & Documentation (15%) Create, review, and edit reports, audits, and presentations to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Audit Preparation (15%) Assist in coordinating special projects and preparation for audits.
• Administrative Support (15%) Provide daily coverage and support across the department.
• Issue Prioritization (10%) Identify and escalate urgent matters to supervisors as needed.
• Department Access (10%) Manage access and communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Experience & Skills:

• 0 2 years of experience in healthcare and/or regulatory environment (required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases) and strong typing skills (required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (required)
