Job Title: Welder
Job Description

The role involves building and fabricating components for bridges and barges. You will be responsible for welding, cutting, and fitting steel to create specific bridge parts according to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld, cut, and fit steel components to fabricate bridge and barge parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide welding and fabrication tasks.
• Utilize various welding techniques, including Flux Core, Mig, and arc welding, on structural and stainless steel.
• Perform grinding and arc gauging of metal as required.

• Proficiency in Flux Core welding on structural and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and work off blueprints.
• Experience with Mig welding.
• Skill in grinding and arc gauging metal.

• Experience in welding and fabrication of bridge components.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation.

The work environment involves working with steel and welding equipment. Safety gear and appropriate attire are required to ensure a safe and productive workspace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
