**Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first** The Senior Data and Reporting Professional manages information from various sources, transforming and loading data while enforcing accuracy and integrity in order to support ongoing reporting and analytics efforts. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The ability to own and understand data within a given domain is key to success. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce required data elements. Programs and maintains data pipelines and scheduled ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs to support information dashboards, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Begins to influence business strategy by representing technical issues and options effectively to stakeholders. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The ideal candidate has the ability to understand complex data and systems while also possessing a drive to simplify and streamline processes. Candidates should have a passion for automation and be able to provide examples of manual processes they've automated. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + 5 or more years of technical experience in managing data and ETL processes + Advanced experience with SQL development in an environment utilizing SQL server and Oracle databases + Significant experience in the development and testing of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) projects using Microsoft Visual Studio + Use of Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report data + Experience working with large, complex datasets within large organizations + Proficiency in verbal and written communication + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with SQL Server administration and query performance tuning + Experience with healthcare and prior authorization data + Experience managing data and pipelines in a Databricks environment + Experience with navigating change management processes in a large enterprise environment + Experience working with an enterprise scheduling system to manage job execution Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $73,400 - $100,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
