Join EOS Defense Systems as an Accountant supporting a fast-growing, mission-driven defense manufacturing organization. In this role, you'll be a key partner to both Finance and Operations-driving cost visibility, ensuring compliance with government contracting standards, and delivering insights that directly impact program performance.This is an opportunity for an experienced Aerospace and Defense accounting professional to take ownership of internal and external audit, manufacturing finance processes, influence decision-making, and help scale a complex, high-impact business.What You'll Do:Financial Reporting & ComplianceSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with a focus on accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysesMaintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (and IFRS where applicable)Support audits including DCAA, external auditors, and internal reviewsEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and indirect rate structuresSupport cycle counts and annual physical inventoryBusiness Partnership & Process ImprovementCollaborate cross-functionally to improve financial performance and reportingIdentify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controlsParticipate in ERP enhancements, system implementations, and automation initiativesWhat We're Looking For:Required:Bachelor 's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of progressive accounting experience in Aerospace and DefenseExperience with government contracting (FAR/DFARS, CAS)Experience working DCAA/DCMA auditsExperience supporting Incurred Cost Proposal submissionsExperience with Revenue Recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Costpoint, Epicor)Strong analytical and communication skills, with a detail-oriented mindsetPreferred:MBA/MACcExperience with IFRSExposure to manufacturing, operational analytics, and process improvementOther duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.EOS Defense Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identification and sexual orientation) or national origin in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
