Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential counseling services to high school students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social development throughout the school year. Ideal candidates will be passionate about fostering a positive environment and helping students navigate their high school experience with confidence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to high school students addressing academic, personal, social, and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
- Assist students in goal setting, career planning, and college readiness
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of counseling activities
- Promote a safe and inclusive school environment for all students
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid counseling certification or licensure appropriate for the state
- Experience working with high school students in an educational setting
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Knowledge of academic and social development during adolescence

Contract Duration:
