As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Burkville AL this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.65 / Hour

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and appropriate emergency response actions in an industrial chemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual conditions in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and document visitor vehicle and/or contractor activity in accordance with post orders and location policies.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents patrol activity and daily operations and assist with evacuations severe weather procedures and other emergency-related directives when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
