We are seeking qualified candidates for a Saw Operator!

**Someone who is used to working with machines (& operated a saw or various saws preferably for metal work), can read a tape measure, and has experience operating a forklift**

Responsibilities include:

• Cutting a variety of materials into specified shapes using a band saw.
• Reading job orders for specifications, such as material, type and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut.
• Obtaining and transferring stock to the machine, manually or with a hoist.
• Installing saw blade and setting blade tension cutting speed for the specified operation.
• Operating and maintaining the band saw through routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring that the saw delivers accurate cuts by following the work order or blueprints laid out on the stock.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Familiarity machine tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
