Native iOS Developer (Remote)

Kforce has a client that is seeking a highly experienced Native iOS Developer to join an enterprise mobile engineering team. This role is remote. Summary: This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys spending the majority of their time building high-quality software while also contributing to technical design and architecture discussions. The ideal candidate is passionate about native mobile development and has deep expertise in Apple's mobile ecosystem. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using modern Apple technologies
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable production-quality code
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions for new features and enhancements
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
• Help drive continuous improvements in application performance, stability, and user experience
• Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, and sprint activities
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Extensive experience developing native iOS applications
• Proven experience building production-grade mobile applications
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable mobile applications
• Strong proficiency with: Swift; SwiftUI
• Native iOS SDKs and frameworks
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed Agile team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on large-scale enterprise or consumer-facing mobile applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile applications
• Experience mentoring junior developers and participating in technical leadership activities
• Experience optimizing application performance and improving mobile user experiences

This role is approximately:

• 80% hands-on software development
• 20% technical design and solution architecture

We're looking for someone who enjoys writing code every day while helping shape technical solutions and engineering standards. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can also influence architecture and collaborate across engineering teams. This position requires true native iOS development experience. Candidates with backgrounds focused primarily on cross-platform technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, or similar frameworks will not be considered.
