Huntsville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Activities Supervisor / Activities Director / Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead and grow our resident programs.

Position Summary

The Activities Director / Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and directing all activity and life enrichment programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This role ensures each resident’s emotional, social, recreational, and spiritual needs are met through engaging and individualized programming.

What You'll Do

1. Plan, organize, and implement daily activity programs and events
2. Coordinate programs with residents, families, staff, and community partners
3. Develop and oversee the facility volunteer program
4. Assess and monitor residents’ social, emotional, and recreational needs
5. Complete activity assessments and contribute to care plans
6. Participate in interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings
7. Ensure compliance with all activity program regulations and standards
8. Lead group activities, events, and individualized engagement opportunities

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience as an Activities Director, Activities Supervisor, or Life Enrichment Coordinator preferred
2. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting preferred
3. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
5. Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality
6. Passion for improving resident quality of life
7. Must be at least 18 years of age
8. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
