Travel RN – MS/Tele Respiratory needed in Tuscaloosa, AL

📍 Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Shift: Nights | 36 or 48 hours/week ( Up to choose)
Schedule: Every other weekend & holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

About This Unit:

You’ll be working on a 42-bed Medical Respiratory Unit that specializes in both acute and chronic respiratory conditions . Think: pneumonia, COPD, shortness of breath, and other lung-related challenges — along with a mix of GI, diabetes, and med-surg patients. Bonus? The unit includes an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit with a 1:4 ratio.

✨ What You'll Be Doing:

• Caring for a variety of respiratory and medical patients

• Monitoring and managing complex patient conditions

• Collaborating with a full interdisciplinary care team

• Floating as needed to other units or hospitals (team spirit!)

• Adhering to facility protocols and patient safety standards

✅ What You Need to Bring:

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher)

• Certifications:

  • AHA or Red Cross BLS

• Licensure:

  • Active RN license in Alabama or Compact State ( No temp licenses accepted )

  • Must be in good standing on NURSYS

• 🩺 Experience:

  • 2 years RN experience preferred

  • Will consider 18+ months of experience + 1 year in med-surg/tele specialty

Dress Code:

Solid Navy Blue Scrubs
EMR System: Meditech
