Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are hiring a Chemical Coating Machine Operator to set up and operate machinery that applies coatings to plastic polymer parts used in food packaging. This is a hands-on production role focused on machine operation, quality checks, and maintaining a clean workspace. Chemical experience is preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor coating machines according to production requirements.

• Load/unload plastic polymer parts into the equipment safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet coating and appearance standards.

• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain consistent production.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following food-grade handling guidelines.

• Record production data and follow standard work procedures.

• Follow all safety practices, including proper use of PPE.

Requirements

• Experience setting up and operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed.

• Reliability and solid work ethic.

The pay range for this position is $42640.00 - $43000.00/yr.
