Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Route Driver in Albertville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the chance to support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, delivery traffic, and visitor activity, verifying credentials and reporting discrepancies through proper communication channels.
• Support daily operations at the location by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and high-traffic zones, and/or reporting hazards, damage, or suspicious behavior to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
