THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Collector 1 – General Repair-A/R Support role directly assists the Credit and Collections Manager in the accounts receivable department. This role will help to expedite with the set up of General Repair accounts and help with questions relating to these type of accounts. This role will also assist with other AR Department functions.

NMG operates in a high-volume and fast paced working environment. The successful candidate will need to work independently, be a self-starter, multi-task, practice excellent time management and organizational skills, and strongly adhere to deadlines. This position will require significant interaction with teams across all functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· General Repair A/R support.

• Answering the GR support phone line.
• Responding to GR support email.

· AR Department

• Send copies of invoices, credit memos and statements to customers
• Sending daily and weekly AR reports.
• AR projects, such as tax audits request.
• Release held sales orders
• Unlock customer account
• Filing and administrative tasks
• Assist and back up the department as needed

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years related experience and/or training and education.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Knowledge of JDE (JD Edwards) a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Proficient computer and systems software skills to accomplish daily work, worksheets, and data input.

· Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.

· A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative, and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

· Capacity to anticipate and develop new processes with minimal direction.

· Solid analytical and problem solving skills.

· Ability to organize and prioritize projects.
