Plant Mechanic
Location: Saraland, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay: $27.00/hour | Temp-to-Perm or Direct Hire

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Plant Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on a range of plant and trailer equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plant machinery and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and service pressure washer pumps, water pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, compactors, and balers.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers (no diesel engine work).
• Support other employees within the maintenance department.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a plant mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other maintenance staff.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license (required).
• Must reside in Mobile County, AL .
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Work Environment & Tools

• Tools and PPE are provided by the company.
• Maintenance team reports directly to the Plant Manager .
