Daniels Health is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead of our plant in Dothan, AL. As the Operations Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of leading our Memphis facility, managing a diverse and talented operations team. Your primary goal is to properly organize staff members and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day.
What you will do- Support operations by contributing to strategic planning, policy execution, and cross-functional coordination.
- Assist in managingoperational areas including safety, quality, logistics, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and customer satisfaction.
- Help optimize current waste stream management processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through process mapping, time studies, and risk assessments focused on enhancing existing workflows.
- Develop and analyze operational data using Excel and other tools to support decision‑making, performance tracking, and operational enhancements.
- Learn and help implement OSHA and safety regulations while supporting updates and improvements to existing site‑specific safety programs.
- Participate in team building and staff management activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing performance development
- Proven leadership experience in operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Manufacturing or industrial operations background strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of plant workflows and production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including OSHA and environmental safety standards.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience driving process improvements and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster strong relationships across departments and with external partners.
