Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking to add Roll Press/Machine Operators in Pell City, AL

Pay starts at $22 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Responsible for operating and maintaining assigned manual and semi-automatic equipment. Duties include loading and unloading machines, making minor program and setup adjustments, and performing routine cleaning and maintenance. This role supports on-time delivery and the production of high-quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate manual and semi-automatic machinery associated with assigned tasks.

• Load and unload parts and materials from machines.

• Make minor programming and setup adjustments as required.

• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Operate a forklift to move materials to and from inventory and production areas.

• Read and interpret engineered drawings and measure accurately to within 1/16 of an inch.

• Understand company products and their mechanical applications.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour shift, with overtime as required.

• Demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Manage individual workload while working effectively as part of a team.

• Perform additional duties and assist in other areas as needed.

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate industrial machinery and material handling equipment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• Must successfully pass post-hire physical, background, DMV, and drug/alcohol screening.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of related machine operation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Entry-level candidates may be considered for apprenticeship roles with structured training.

Training, Certifications, and Licenses

• Valid State Driver’s License.

• Ability to obtain and maintain company forklift certification.

• Subject to background, DMV, and drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, machine coolant, and varying temperatures.

• Continuous standing for extended periods.

• Moderate noise levels.
