Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time role is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support a school environment in Clio, Alabama. This contract-to-hire position will run from July 31, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing services 2-3 days per week. The caseload includes approximately 50 students, allowing for impactful intervention and therapy tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, assessing and addressing individual communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Implement evidence-based practices to help students improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from a recognized professional association.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying speech and language abilities.
Location:
- Clio, Alabama services provided onsite at a local school setting.
