This will temporarily be a full-time schedule on a 3/2/2 split (12-hour shifts, 7 AM – 7 PM) and will eventually transition to a PRN schedule.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare by providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across various clinical settings. This position involves direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions to promote optimal health outcomes. The RN serves as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients and their families receive education and support to understand their health conditions and treatment plans. Ultimately, the RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient safety, comfort, and recovery while adhering to established medical and surgical nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state or region.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and performing treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care to promote informed decision-making and self-care.
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and needs by coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and personalized care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and support clinical decision-making.
