Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in Mobile, Alabama, starting March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026. This role supports K-12 students within the public school setting, offering the opportunity to impact student well-being and academic success across multiple schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across grades K-12.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student mental health and learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation to school staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and services.
- May support multiple schools as an itinerant psychologist based on district needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama school psychology license required.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Location & Schedule:
- Position is on-site within Mobile, AL, with specific schools to be determined.
- Full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week.
