About Us: Are you a skilled sheet metal professional with a heart for teaching? MCTI is looking for a passionate instructor to lead our Sheet Metal course. This class meets one evening a week and serves as a launching pad for students eager to join the mechanical trades.
Position: Sheet Metal Instructor
What Youll Do:
- Teach foundational and hands-on skills in sheet metal installation and fabrication
- Guide students through safety procedures, trade math, blueprint reading, installation, maintenance, repair, and more
- Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment using storytelling, games, and active learning
What Were Looking For:
- 3+ years of sheet metal experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a desire to mentor others
- Previous teaching or training experience a plus, but not required
- Must be coachable and aligned with MCTIs mission: building a thriving workforce for the mechanical industry
