Software Test Engineer
Location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Clearance: Active DoD Secret required
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the verification, validation, and integration of complex mission-critical software systems. This role supports system-level testing efforts in a Linux-based environment and collaborates closely with software and systems engineering teams.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute system-level and integration test plans
Translate technical requirements into test procedures and criteria
Perform functional, regression, and automated testing
Support integration and verification activities across software components
Analyze test results and document findings
Collaborate with developers to resolve defects
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of software test or integration experience
Experience with:
C++
Python or scripting languages
Linux environments
Version control systems (Git)
Active DoD Secret clearance
GUI automation tools (Eggplant or similar)
Experience with system-level integration testing
Familiarity with mission or defense systems
Security+ certification
Active Top Secret clearance
