Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide onsite support in a K-12 educational setting located in Athens, AL. This contract position runs through the school year and involves working 35 hours per week within an elementary school environment.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 40 students. These students range from preschool to 2nd grade and include those receiving related services as well as case-managed individuals. The role requires accurate data collection and progress documentation to support student development and compliance with service standards.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Possession of a valid Alabama SLP or SLPA license
- Previous experience working with preschool and early elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload while maintaining detailed records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families
Location: Athens, Alabama onsite at a local K-12 school serving early childhood to elementary students.
