Position: Assembly Technician
What You'll Do:
As an Assembly technician , you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to help build components, subassemblies, and finished products. This is a great opportunity to learn by doing and develop real-world skills in a supportive team setting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts using hand and power tools (bolts, screws, rivets, clamps, etc.)
- Assist with prototype and demo builds following detailed product specifications
- Secure components using brackets, clips, adhesives, or welding
- Prepare parts for assembly (cleaning, oiling, coating, etc.)
- Follow detailed work instructions to ensure accurate builds
- Use jigs, templates, and measuring tools for proper alignment
- Label or stamp parts with identification marks
- Inspect assemblies with gauges and measuring instruments
- Safely dispose of materials like metal shavings and solvents
- Use shop tools to fabricate custom components as needed
- Install accessories using swaging and bonding tools
- Cut, bend, trim, or smooth parts to ensure precision fit and function
