Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a diverse learning center caseload in Boaz, AL. This onsite, part-time contract position offers work 3-4 days per week with a caseload of 49 students, primarily in elementary grades with some high school students included. The role focuses on providing speech and language services to a high-needs group in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in a learning center environment
- Manage a caseload that includes students from kindergarten through high school, with many in early grades
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Ability to manage a large caseload independently and efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
